Renting a Studio
If you are coming to UK alone to work or live and if you would like to have privacy and ready to spare extra money for privacy you could go for Studio flats. Studio flat comes with a living hall, a bed in one corner of the hall and an attached toilet bath. You could find a kitchen facility in one corner of the same hall or you could get a small separate Kitchen.
Usually Studio flats will the furnished with one double bed, one sofa, kitchen facilities such as oven, fridge, microwave etc.
The rent of these studios would be from £400 to £550 a month. Normally you don’t have to pay council tax and gas bill. In studios you might have a separate power meter for your studio where you have to top up your meter key for continuous power supply.
